March 13, 14 and 21 2026 | Buur & Boek Mini Festivals | Groningen
In March, several mini festivals will take place in different neighbourhoods and villages in and around Groningen. These gatherings bring neighbours together for an afternoon or evening of stories, poetry, music and conversation. The festivals mark the conclusion of the first edition of Buur & Boek, a pilot project by NOORDWOORD and Arts in Health Groningen in which participants have been meeting regularly since October to talk about literature, share stories and get to know one another. The mini festivals will take place on
13 March in the Korrewegwijk (Het Floreshuis),
14 March in Beijum (De Buurtacademie), and
21 March in Finsterwolde (MFC De Hardenberg) and Noordlaren (De Rieshoek).
Admission is free and no registration is required.
