21 October – 6 December 2026 | Vergeet me niet & Wat blijft | Drenthe
This autumn, Peergroup travels through Drenthe with the location-based performance Vergeet me niet (Don’t Forget Me), a performance about dementia presented in a theatre truck outside nursing homes. The story follows Maureen and Andreas, two lovers facing young-onset dementia and the intimate process of letting go. Alongside the performance, Stichting Wandelende Duinen presents the independent programme Wat blijft (What Remains), centred on the question: how can we give dementia a place in society? ‘Wat blijft’ consists of two programmes: an impact programme for professionals for policymakers, healthcare professionals and artists, including a visit to the performance and a post-show discussion, and a community programme for local residents, family members, carers, volunteers and other interested participants, excluding the performance and post-show discussion.
