1 September 2026 | Lecture: How the Arts Transform Our Health | Groningen
Daisy Fancourt explores how the arts can contribute to health and wellbeing throughout life. Drawing on decades of international research, she shows how activities such as making music, dancing, reading and visiting cultural events can support mental and physical health, reduce loneliness and strengthen resilience. The lecture marks the start of the European Culture and Health Hub, a new Horizon Europe project that brings together twenty organisations from thirteen European countries to strengthen collaboration between the culture, health and social sectors. The lecture is organised by Studium Generale Groningen in collaboration with Arts in Health Groningen and will be held in English.
