On Monday, 30 March 2026, Museum Beelden aan Zee, in close collaboration with partner care institutions across the Netherlands (including Zorggroep De Laren, Cordaan, Amarosa, Rosa Spier House and Bloezem), hosts BAZ Academy+ Art & Care.
This event is based on a collaboration in which more than 150 sculptures from the museum’s collection are on long-term loan to care institutions. The artworks are placed in care environments, where they create moments of calm, recognition and conversation. In this way, they contribute to the wellbeing of both residents and care professionals. The event focuses on the role of art in care and brings together people interested in the intersection of art, care and society. Programme and registration.
